Welcome to Beauty Point OOSH

Beauty Point OOSH (Out Of School Hours) offers a variety of fun activities that caters for children 4.5 years to 12 years of age who attend the Beauty Point Public School.

We also offer Vacation Care Program during school holidays and we welcome school aged children from BPPS and the wider community.

The centre can cater for up to 45 children for BSC, ASC,  and Vacation Care.

Our Centre has recently gone through accreditation process  conducted by National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC).

We have achieved High Quality in all areas.

Before School Care (BSC)    7:30am - 9:00am

Breakfast is served until 8.30am.  Breakfast may include pancakes, eggs, fruit and yoghurt on top of our standard choice of cereal and toast.  Quiet indoor activites are planned in the morning until 8.45am when the children are taken to the playground where a school staff member supervises the children until 9.00am.  Kindergarten children are taken directly to class at 9.00am.

After School Care (ASC)       3:00pm - 6:00pm

Children come to the school Hall.  Kindergarten kids are picked up directly from their classrooms.   Many fun and exciting indoor and outdoor activities, such as arts, crafts, cooking, outdoor games and sports are planned each week.  The children are provided with a nutritious afternoon tea and a late snack.  Fresh fruit is always available for all children every afternoon.  Time is set aside each afternoon for homework.   Children are encouraged to do their homework and are rewarded for doing so.  However we do not force children to do their homework.

Vacation Care                      8:00am - 6:00pm

We offer all day fun and care during school holidays and pupil free days.  Every day has a different activity scheduled.  Please see the calendar issued prior to each holiday period.  We welcome students attending Beauty Point Primary School as well as other students from the wider community.  We are closed all public holidays and over the Christmas break. 

Please note: January 2010 Vacation Care dates will be soon advised. We are accepting bookings from children who are enrolled and are starting Kindergarten in 2010. It is a great opportunity for the youngest ones to get to know the school grounds and develop friendships with school friends even before school starts.

Fees

Annual Registration:            $30 per child or $35 per family

BSC Permanent Booking:      $9.50 per morning 

BSC Casual Booking:           $11.50 per morning

ASC Permanent Booking:    $19.00 per afternoon

ASC Casual Booking:           $22.00 per afternoon

Vacation Care:                     As Advised per program.
